Where in the UK can buy a Swiffer to clean a laminate floor?
Alcontch response to an earlier question of mine on how to clean a laminate floor suggesting I use a "Swiffer". From a Google search on this seems to be a U.S. product and I can not find a stockist in the UK. Does anyone know where in the UK I could find one, or if there is a list the wholesalers on the web?
Try Vileda Rapid Attractive. It comes with an attached spray bottle that you can fill with your choice floor cleaner (cleaner Johnson's Wood, the soap is great). Then, you attach one of the pads to the bottom, spray and wipe. She has a head very phone to get all those awkward places. It's like the mop in a way, but much less messy and much faster. She raised bumps on the side below that help lift stains and better grades. The kit comes with 6 pads, but I make them last longer than using a store's own brand cleaning cloths similar systems (Tesco has a stake of 15 lemon scented antibacterial wipes the floor 98p) and put one of those on top of the wipe. I throw it one away, but keep the pad to another day or two using cloth over the top again. I have wooden floors throughout my house and would not be without it. There are other brands, but Vileda has a far more innovative design. You can buy it in Tesco in the household goods section (along with Mops, Brooms, etc.) for about £ 10.
